Parish Committees

The parish pastoral council is a body of representatives from among parishioners who assist the pastor in investigating, considering, and proposing practical conclusions about matters pertaining to the pastoral activities ordered to the accomplishment of the parish’s mission.

MEETING MINUTES

According to the Code of Canon Law, the finance council “aids the pastor in the administration of parish goods” (c. 537). It assists the pastor and participates in the pastor’s responsibility to exercise principled stewardship over the parish’s financial resources. To this end, it proposes the annual budget, oversees financial transactions and investments, and advises the pastor on financial topics—always in service to the parish’s spiritual mission of professing, celebrating, living, and proclaiming the redeeming love of Christ.

A Team of 12 (with staff and pastor-designates) taking the lead in implementing Archbishop Hebda’s Pastoral Letter (November 2022).
The 2023 Team is the first group in the parish to be formed in the School of Discipleship, and will then serve to animate the renewal of the parish to reach its full potential as a community of missionary disciples.
