Father Michael Creagan was born in Japan and grew up in Hudson, WI. He is a graduate of University of St. Thomas 1993 (B.A. in International Studies), St. Paul Seminary 1997 (Master of Divinity) and the Chaplain Basic Officer Leadership Course, Ft Jackson South Carolina 2014. He was ordained a priest by Archbishop Harry Flynn in 1997.
He served as parochial vicar for St. Michael and St. Mary in Stillwater (1997-2002) and from 2002-2008, he was pastor of Sacred Heart in Robbinsdale. He also served as an adjunct spiritual director for St. John Vianney Minor Seminary (2000-2014).
He is a member of the Knights of Columbus and a Knight of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulcher of Jerusalem.
Father Creagan serves in the Army National Guard as the chaplain for the 334th BEB with headquarters in Stillwater, MN.
He served as chaplain for the MNBE (Multi-national Battlegroup East) in Kosovo during 2015 on a NATO peacekeeping mission.
Father Creagan was commissioned as a captain in the Army National Guard in February of 2013 and currently serves as the chaplain for the 334 BEB with headquarters in Bloomington, MN.
